Although we were made very welcome by the owner there were many aspects of our stay that were disappointing - the website states that if you want bedding and towels changed more than twice a week to let them know, which we thought was fine as we were only staying for 5 nights. Unfortunately neither the towels or bedding were... more

My partner and I have just spent a fantastic weekend in Newquay and we can honestly say that one of the highlights was finding this small, but stylish guesthouse. A lot of care had gone into the decor of our room, it was immediately inviting, artistically decorated and we felt very welcomed. Breakfast was delicious, there was so much choice... more

The breakfast was fab and at a good time til 10 am at weekends, the only thing that was missing for me being female was no... more

B&b was very central. Room was nice and clean but not really suitable for a couple as one of you had to climb over the other to get out of bed (we stayed in Elands) & the lack of a door on the bathroom! Breakfast was the highlight & the homemade bread was delicious. more

The hotel is in a great location and yes, you do get a warm welcome. I have to agree about the privacy in the bedroom when it comes to the bathroom ........... you definetly need to be a close couple to stay here! Andy was very welcoming (but don't think he looks like Swayze unless you've had too much wine... more

Loved the place. Nice room, clean and really comfortable bed. Jan made the best breakfast ever. Try her egg & bacon melt (to die for :o)) and I even got soyamilk with my breakfast, lovely. Only a few minutes walk to the town. There was a dvd player in the room and loads of movies to chose from. Really good... more

First the good bits..... Location is superb, a 2 minute walk down the hill and you are at The Central Pub. Very tastefully decorated, very rustic/surfer..ish... breakfast was ok, if you like to sit around a big table with other guests. Andy looks like Patrick Swayze from point break!!! Now the bad points..... If you book online, through their website,... more

Breaks is luxury B&B in the town centre of Newquay. It's more of a small hotel than B&B. It has been decorated in a very trendy style which nice touches such as a free DVD library and lovely organic toiletries. Breakfast was excellent and round a big table where it was nice to chat to other guests. We were in... more

This B&B only opened this summer and what a gem it is. It has been fitted out in a rustic, seaside style with a very homely feel, and this makes a refreshing change to most accommodation in Newquay. We stayed in the fantastic ensuite attic room and had a very relaxing stay. Jan & Andy, the owners, couldn't have been... more
