The first impression of Richmond Lodge is that Mark and Sarah, the proprietors, are genuinely welcoming people. And it's an attractive house in a quiet area with a comfortable lounge, and good cooking. They deserve to succeed. It is worth asking them where to eat out at night though. Richmond Lodge is located on a quiet street just off from the town centre - approx. 5 mins walk to the town centre, and 10 mins from the railway/bus station. My husband and I found this guesthouse shortly after arriving in Penzance. It is located at the top of a quiet street, with free parking on one side of the road.
