Spent 2 very enjoyable nights at Ednovean Farm. Views fantastic. Village Pub good. Room (Pink) was wonderful. Breakfast delicious with a good variety and a very relaxing atmosphere. Made to feel very welcome by Charles and Christine, who are there to please. Read the reviews before we went, so went there with an open mind. Found the negative reviews harsh.... more

My husband & I stayed for 4 nights in the Blue Room at the end of August. We were seeing a show at the Minack Theatre & chose Ednovean Farm as it is fairly close by. The room & its terrace were lovely & had magnificent views across the fields of St Michaels Mount. Christine & Charles were most welcoming... more

Made to feel exceptionally welcome by Christine and Charles, found them easy to talk to, and very knowledgable and helpful about getting the best from the area. The room we stayed in (Blue) was very spacious, stylish and bursting with every comfort. We were under no pressure to leave the property even whilst the room was refreshed daily. They take... more

We chose Ednovean because it is fairly close to The Minack Theatre. It is tucked away in the countryside but with a view of the sea and the haunting St Michael's Mount. It's only a short walk from a very good pub/restaurant in the nearest village and if you carry on down the lane you reach the sea in a... more

We are a younger couple who were fortunate enough to stay at this surprisingly good B&B. The rooms, location and service provided were excellent for a top end end B&B. The stunning views to St Michael's Mount are unsurpassed in the area. The owners were attentive and helpful in planning our walks for the day and provided an excellent breakfast... more

If you want a stay in a tranquil farm, with beautiful rooms stunning views and gardens with charming helpful hosts then this is the place for you. I have visited this guest house on many occasions and have always felt totally relaxed from the moment that I have arrived to my departure. I have particularly appreciated their total no smoking... more

My boyfriend and I often visit this part of Cornwall as his parents live close by, we have tried to stay at the farm but they are always fully booked, so we were absolutely delighted when there was a room available on our last trip. We arrived about 2 hours early and although Charles and Christine were about to go... more

Management response from
CHARLES TAYLOR, Owner

We are genuinely distressed that our concern for our guests should be interpreted in such a negative way. Fire in historic buildings is always something that requires vigilance. Ednovean is widely advertised as a non-smoking B&B, so to be awakened, near midnight, by unexplained smoke in our bedroom naturally brought a response. Charles, who is the designated fire officer, tracked...

It was delightfully easy to find -drive very slowly along the unmade road though as it certianly is unmade! We were welcomed with tea and marble cake which certianly lifted our spirits given the pouring rain. The Apricot room was lovely, even if the curtains from which the room got its name are no more. The bathroom was small-ish but... more

Our stay at Ednovean was 'just what the doctor ordered'. The minute we walked into the blue room the word that popped into my head was charming and it is. The best I've slept for ages, I've even been out and bought the same pillows since we came home, shame I can't replocate the rest of the room! The view... more

What a superb place. Set on a hill overlooking St Michael's Mount and Penzance, exceptional garden, great accommodation, fantastic hosts and good food - have I left anything out. We had a wonderful experience - I cannot understand how anyone could possibly criticise this place. We booked via the internet from Australia, so there is always a risk but Ednovean... more
