There is nothing "wrong" with this guesthouse : our room was clean and had all the usual facilities, hosts are professional and helpful. But there is something rather joyless about the place. I stayed at this guest house for three nights in June and would highly recommend it to anyone. Marc and Anne were wonderful about check-in, which was about 9:15 PM, due to a late train. It's all about the money....I paid for two nights but 5 days prior to arrival couldn't make it to Cornwall. They promised to refund one night, but on my return to Canada, refused. Don't even book here!! In case of emergencey they will not issue refund. more

Firstly, this lady has never stayed here. She booked two nights stay in October, online. She paid in full on a credit card and accepted our terms and conditions, including a 7 night cancellation policy. She cancelled with 5 days notice, so was not entitled to a refund. We, however, offered one night's refund as a goodwill gesture and asked...

Great little find, great room with ensuite, very neat, tidy and clean. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Friendly couple make you feel very welcome. Minutes from the railway station and town. more

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night at the end of May. The owners were very friendly and I especially liked their housecat Patches. The location was good - a few minutes away from the main part of downtown, but a very short and nice walk. Penzance itself was a really sweet town that we enjoyed very much.... more
