Our reservation had been for 2 nights. We arrived at 5 pm at the reception/bar area to be met by 4 drunken golfers and another sprawled across a settee, a great welcome! We spent one night at Cape Cornwall and I would certainly go back! Really friendly staff, good food and of course the location would be hard to beat. The bar was homely, the rooms are small but spotlessly clean, this is of course reflected in the price which was very reasonable. more

It was dirty, espcially the restaurant which was not clean at all. The food was ok. The room was small and claustraphoic with paper thin walls. Very unprofessional reception staff. In all not a bit like you would expect for a golf and country hotel. more

We booked one night here as it was close to the Minack theatre. Our room was basic. We got back from the theatre shortly after 11 by which time the bar was closed. The cooked breakfast was quite tasty but it's the only hotel we've stayed where this had to be ordered the day before. Convenient for what we needed... more
