We wanted a few days relaxing not too far from home, when we saw Penryn House on line it seemed exactly what we wanted. We are SO glad we chose to stay there. Anna and Chris are so welcoming and friendly the hotel is spotless, the bedroom and lounge very comfortable and breakfast was lovely, thankyou both for giving us... More

Having returned to Polperro once more for the fireworks weekend, we opted for Penryn House Hotel on a 3-nights-for-the-price-of-2 deal, which gave us a chance to sample this wonderful hotel / B&B. Frankly, it's a cracking place to spend your time in Polperro; having sampled several of the various B&B's in the village and in Looe, I would put this... More

Welcoming, clean and good value. We only stayed for one night but were made to feel very welcome. The location is only a short walk to the harbour and benefits from car parking. A nice little stopover. More

We stayed at Penryn House in September 2011 for 2 nights. We called on our way to say that we would arrive earlier than the 4pm check in time and although our room wasnt ready on arrival they checked us in so we had the keys, Anna told us the room wouldnt be long so we went for a wander... More

We arrived early evening without having booked. Our luggage was carried to our room by a very welcoming owner. Our room was at the front of the hotel and was very clean, bright and comfortable, though a little small. The shower room was attractively decorated but again small and there was no extractor fan. Breakfast was very good with a... More

Quite a nice place but don't book the single room. It is so small it was claustrophobic. The smallest I have ever been allocated. Ensuite is an alcove in the room without a door. The wardrobe a sort of hatstand next to the loo. Other guests feedback is complimentary so I guess the larger rooms are OK. More

This was our second visit to this very well run b & b hotel and we both highly recommend it. We booked the "best room" which had many thoughtful extras including dressing gowns and slippers, which you don't always get in very expensive hotels. The car park was a bonus and very easy to use, the breakfasts were excellent with... More

Polperro is an excellent quaint, mysterious place filled with rich history. This is the best place to stay in Polperro.breakfast was good. People have written that the rooms are small, however just look round you in Polperro, All the houses are small due to location. My only criticism is that the mattress of bed we were in was not so... Anna and Chris could not of been more hospitable and certainly go the extra mile to ensure their guests are happy. It is a fantastic location in Polperro, with car parking. The rooms are immaculate. Breakfast is extremely good and it is simply excellent value for money. It is well worth a visit, I am confident you will not be... More

We had a wonderful time in Polperro while staying at the Penryn House Hotel. We were very happy with our room. We had a second floor room which overlooked the beautiful landscape and the garden with a view down the street and the shops. It was a perfect location- we got the peace and quiet we wanted, and still within... More
