Arrived in Port Isaac on a whim and spotted this B&B from across the Pt Isaac Harbour. (It's a bit hard to miss with the giant BB sign hanging on its outside wall!) Despite misgivings about driving the narrow (NARROW) lanes around the harbour and especially up the hill to the B&B, I "felt the fear and gave it pepper"...... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending 4 nights at the Hathaway Guest House recently. Our stay was quite enjoyable and I would highly recommend the Hathaway. We booked room 2, which has a great view of the harbor. The room was very comfortable and clean. The en-suite bathroom (toilet and shower) was small, but more than adequate... More

I've just come back to London from staying in the magical Port Isaac for the weekend with my parents. We stayed at the Hathaway bed and breakfast and cannot recommend it highly enough. A gorgeous Victorian house, the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming and our room (1) had the very best view. Indeed, you probably couldn't find a better view... More

We saw this guest house whilst visiting Port Isaac for the day and it looked stunning. The house and the views were exceptional and we decided to stop for a cream tea. The menu was basic, only offering Cream Tea, Tea, Coffee and cold refreshments. Given the simplicity of the menu you would think the cream tea would be wonderful... More

Spectacular views and accommodation in Port Isaac isn't cheap, thanks to Doc Martin. But the bedroom and the bathroom were at least two years behind a much needed renovation. Shower head full of grime. Everything felt a bit dated. Breakfast was too average for the price.

I and my family stayed at this special place on the 31st of July and 1st of August 2012. Warm welcome and super position on the cliff, over the sea, with a view on the small harbour. We were so lucky having had the possibility to get the room with a view on the sea, and how fascinating was looking... More

A beautiful spot to stay for 2 nights. The village was gorgeous, the roads into the village and up to Hathaway were frighteningly narrow, but we survived. Marion our hostess was lovely and we were able to sit in the garden on a swing seat and read and enjoy a Cornwall Devonshire tea. Recommend the walk from Hathaway along the... More

Port Isaac was the beginning of our Cornwall holiday. What a start! You immediately fall in love with this B&B and their hosts. The only thing we heard were the seagulls' "laughter" almost 24h a day! It's all quiet and if the weather allows so, you may spend an afternoon in the lovely garden. We tick fitness center as excellent... More

We stayed two nights at Hathaway Guest House in Port Isaac. Our room overlooked the bay and was very comfortable. The Victorian house was gorgeous and we really enjoyed sitting out front and absorbing the view. Both Marion and her husband were very friendly and anything you needed was available. The drive up to the house was quite an experience.... More

We spent one week in the self-catering flat. What a quaint and lovely place to stay. It had everything we needed and more. Open plan kitchen/sitting area and a sectioned-off bedroom also a good sized bathroom. Very comfy all round and very clean. We loved it. There is a sitting area on the flat roof which can be accessed from... More
