Our visit to Baragwainaith was back in April 2009. The space is absolutely amazing, if you are looking for Cornish charm with a true attention to detail then this cottage is perfect. We visited with our 2 year old daughter and will definitely return. We couldn't fault the place, Melanie (the owner) provided a great insight to the property prior to our arrival but it offered so much more.

Highlights:
1. Feeling totally at peace within 2-hours (post unpacking) in a child friendly space with an enclosed garden suitable for pre-schoolers. Possibly something to do with the deep couches
2. Watching the sunrise in bed with breathtaking sea views in three directions
3. Walking for miles with our daughter with no agenda for destination
4. Signing for tesco order within an hour of arriving (thanks Mel, inspired suggestion).
5. Storytelling with our daughter about the smugglers tunnel in the kitchen (so much more effective than any naughty step!).

Not only does Baragwainaith Cottage have this but it also has the most charming decor by owner Melanie Fielden (who lives in the adjoining cottage), high quality fixtures, fittings and furniture and to top it all off a smugglers tunnel under the kitchen floor covered by plexiglass!!

The cottage is part of the Manor of Trowan - a small group...
