From afar, the hotel seems quaint, situated on a hill just above the town. Upon arrival, we waited for more than five minutes in a deserted (dirty) hallway for the owner to bother to come check us in. He seemed perturbed to have to deal with customers and to show us to our room.
The room was dated but fine. We had booked a double and they gave us a room with a queen and bunk beds, though we preferred twins. When we asked for sheets for the barren bunk beds, we were told we would need to pay more to not share a bed that was ALREADY in the room!
There was a pool that did not look particularly well maintained and when we returned form dinner in the evening, the host and guests (locals?) in the so-called bar made us feel incredibly unwelcome.
Having stayed in amazing B&Bs in the UK, this place was overpriced and generally a downer on our stay.
