Only a few scant miles from busy St. Ives is the village of Zennor, nestled between high hills and the cliffs with their crashing surf far below. The feeling of centuries of human struggle, and eons of geologic time, will put you in the proper frame of mind to contemplate the wild land and seascape. Just in case the present time recaptures you before you move on, try stopping at the Old Chapel Backpackers and Cafe for a rest, and some food and refreshement. My friends and I enjoyed a very good pizza, and the sandwich menu was appealing. For long-distance walkers, overnight accommodations are available. more
