We would thoroughly recommend this hotel. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked the suite which was gorgeous and a real treat! Its location is super, a minutes walk to Porthminster Beach and the cafe there. About 5 minutes walk along a path and past a few lovely cottages and you are right in the town.... more

Very nice hotel which has a clean and contemporary feel to it. There's no tired and dusty floral patterns here thank goodness. The Primrose Valley was great from the cream tea welcome, to the amazing breakfasts. The room was great, very modern with a fantastic balcony looking over the beach. The hotel is very well decorate with a lot of personal touches - books, art etc. The breakfast was made from local ingredients with the chef making some lovely and original specials.... more

After being impressed by the website I booked the hotel over the phone. The last 100 yards drive is a bit tricky but fun. The railway station is just a stone’s throw away.
