Myself and my partner stayed at The Light House for two nights recently as birthday treat for him, however it was equally as much of treat for me! It was fantastic!!! Tim was really helpful when I booked, as it was a surprise, and sent lots of information and recommended some restaurants for a special meal; he even sent a... more

I am not sure if I can do this delightful B and B justice. Roz and Tim are incrediably friendly and welcoming but never too "in your face" so it has the perfect balance of someones home and a boutique hotel. Upon arrival Roz picked us up from the station and brought us tea and home made shortbread to our... more

We stayed at the Light House April/May this year and echo everything that everyone else had said about it. Tim and Roz were fantastic; genuinely lovely and helpful but not intrusive and they've put a huge amount of thought into their B & B. We loved everything from the quiet location, home-made shortbread, gorgeous breakfast in bed and the fab... more

We have just returned back from the light House B&B. What a superb place. It is by far the cleanest guesthouse that ive ever stayed in. The rooms are lovely and beautifully decorated down to perfection. It is only a fifteen-minute walk into St ives. This is good because it gets very busy in St ives centre and we could... more

We stayed here for 3 nights in July. It's fantastic. The rooms are tastefully decorated, spotless and very comfortable. Tim and Roz are very welcoming and friendly hosts. (They even found us somewhere to store our bicycles). No issues about us turning up early It's about 30% more expensive than the averge St Ives B&B but the difference in cost... more

Echo everything on the other reviews, St Ives has great places to eat - ate at the Saltwater Cafe and the Blue Fish. Saltwater is best for... more

Stayed there from 13th - !7th August 2006. Possibly the most friendly, well thought out place I've ever stayed. The room was excellent, large well equipped with LCD TV and DVD, DAB radio and absolutely spotless. The breakfasts were superb with a choice to suit every palate. I felt more like a member of the family visiting than a guest.... more

We stayed at the Light House last September spending two nights there followed by 3 nights at the far more expensive Blue Hayes, as we could not afford the full 5 five days at Blue Hayes. However although Blue Hayes was excellent, it was the Light House where we will stay if we return to St Ives. It was a... more

We have stayed for 6 nights in LightHouse B&B, Carbis Bay. Very good Location, silent street and partially a see view. You need 3 minutes to Carbis Bay Beach and the Station. Roz & Tim are very friendly, breakfast is great with a big choice of fresh products, mainly organic. The rooms are good size, nicely furnished. You can use... more
