We arrived in St. Ives with no accommodations booked as we didn't know how far we'd go that day. After finding many places closed (midweek in mid October 2005), we chanced upon Trenwith Vean B&B.
Lovely house and gardens. Not a fancy room, but fairly large and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Off-road parking on their property. Nice breakfast in their large kitchen (ailing mother had temporarily moved into their dining room following surgery).
Walked a block to the local pub - The Cornish Arms - for nice dinner.
Very pleasant stay. Suited our purposes well.
