Atlantic View Hotel, Treknow, Tintagel
We stayed at this hotel for five nights in July this year. From the moment we entered the hotel there was a very welcoming atmosphere. There are only about ten rooms at this hotel and ours was right at the top on the second floor. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Although the shower room was a little on the small side, the shower itself was extremely good.

The hotel stands in pleasant gardens with a large lawn. There is an indoor swimming pool in the garden. The coastal path is a short walk away. It took us about half an hour to walk along this to Tintagel, although by road it is probably quicker but certainly not as pretty.

The evening began in the bar where we chose from the menu and where John and Rosemary, the owners, made everyone feel welcome. We were called into the dining room when our meal was ready to be served. The evening meal was a five course dinner and this was exceptional... more
