Technically it is Trebarwith Strand and not Tintagel, but its close enough. The Port William is on the cliff top, overlooking what has to be one of the best views in the world, where you can watch the waves crashing in at night, and see the beach in the morning. 3 days of wonderful sunshine showed this pub to its very best advantage. The star of the show is the sea & we couldn't get enough of it, including the sunsets. Had a fabulous two night stay and cant fault the Port William. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, rooms delightful. Sitting up nice and warm in bed watching a very angry sea in the cold month of January what more could you ask for. The food was delicious and the breakfast would feed an army!! Would highly recommend more
