We stayed here rather than Rosthwaite. It is that little but further but gets you off to a head start on the next morning. Very comfortable rooms and pleasant owner. Pub nearby for food more

Stayed here on the Coast to Coast walk and were delighted by the beautiful location, spring lambs, lovely village (thank you National Trust), and comfortable bedrooms. Excellent breakfast too. more
