My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights to attend a friend's wedding at the Inn on the Lake. It looked nicer than some of the places in Glenridding and wasn't far away, so we took a chance. Took us a while to find it, I don't think there is a sign to direct you at the turning you need and it's easy to drive right past but we figured it out eventually. The nicest thing about this place is that it is so quiet and peaceful, no noise at all - apart from a few sheep!

Our room was an alright size with a bigger ensuite than you would expect in a B&B. We overlooked the garden with the fells in the background, really beautiful!

The owners were very nice and the breakfast they made was lovely. You could have cereal or cooked food but I tend to just have toast and I think the bread and jam might have been home-made, was really nice!
