Visiting Dartmouth for the first time, I was suprised how expensive the place is to stay. Our ideas of a smart hotel quickly changed to a search for a more reasonably priced B&B... Having reviewed trip advisor,we chose Victorian House initially for its location,and were delighted to find the room was excellent and lovely and clean and bright,the breakfast ideal with plenty of choice and the people really welcoming.We will definitely return even if they cannot do anything about the weather ! more

Recently returned from our short stay at the Victorian House and all the great reviews on Trip Advisor were not wrong it really is EXCELLENT. Although situated in a quiet neighbourhood, the Victorian House is close to the city center and at a short walking distance of attractions and restaurants. Our room was nice and our bathroom was great (modern and clean). We had a good breakfast and our host was very accommodating . There is parking in front of the house off the road. more
