It is a nice hotel with a garden and a bar which is comfortable and not all at intimidating so that I felt fine as a female business traveller spending time there alone. We found the hotel to be very comfortable, and the room was clean and smartly furnished, with a well appointed bathroom. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again. more

The rooms were fine although slightly shabby. We shifted furniture around for our 1 year old's cot. The room was above the bar/restaurant so the baby monitor worked fine! The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good but some of the retaurant food was bland and very over priced. Quiet area but a short walk into the city. more

The rooms are just about OK, the staff seemed fine, if a little disinterested, but I do have to take issue with the food in the restaurant. Company booking for 4 nights. Having read previous reviews felt very worried about it ! IT WAS FINE !! Staff very helpful, food was EXCELLENT ( breakfast is huge, well cooked and includes 2 fish choices), lunch excellent, and the resturant / evening menu is well above expectation.
