We stayed here for one night, and loved the place. The room we had was lovely. A good size, really clean and with a huge bed! The bathroom was off down a couple of stairs from the bedroom, which was very clean, with a great shower. The decor in the room was modern, but still felt comfy, and relaxing. We... more

The Queens Court is a lovely old building overlooking a quiet square within easy walking distance of Exeter City Centre. Parking is pay-and-display, directly opposite. Beware - there's no charge overnight, but the charging starts at 8am. We bought one hours parking to cover us while we ate breakfast, and went over by 10mins - only just escaped the parking... more

Whilst the hotel is nicely furnished and maintained, the staff and management came across as totally lacking charm and any real enthusiasm for the job. The breakfast was fine, but you dont get a friendly "good morning" or a smile. I asked the managers a question about a local event and was met with a bored, disinterested response. This was... more

This was one of the best hotels we have styed in in the price range. The welcome, hospitality, room, servce and food were all excellent - and the decor fabulous! Woudl recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a good, comfortable place to stay which is reasonably priced. more

What a lovely warm and friendly welcome and any request was immediately attended to during our 2 night stay. The restaurant serves excellent food and the Set Menu is amazing value. Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. But, oh dear. They are being badly let down by the housekeeping staff. The room looked clean at first glance but as our... more

From the friendly, helpful greeting with hand-made chocolates that had been kept in the fridge due to the hot weather, our stay here was totally enjoyable. Large king-size bed with an ensuite bathroom [the shower could have flattened a rhino], view over the kitchen herb garden through large opening window, modern[ish] decor, telly and a proper radio, just wonderfully relaxing.... more

We stayed for two nights at this hotel last August. The first room we were given had not been cleaned - we called the manager who apologised and gave us another room in the attic area. The room was small but lovely - plush furnishings and beautiful bathroom fittings, deeper pile carpet than normally found in hotels. If you are... more

I have stayed at the Queen's Court on a number of occasions. The Hotel is situated in a pleasant square, close to the centre of Exeter. The main benefit that the QCH offers is the personal touches by it's wonderful staff. Though the food is great and good value for money. The hotel Manager (Roger) is worth the price alone,... more

It wasn't a good weekend for the hotel when I stayed here. The heating broke down and it was freezing, but we had to ask for updates on whether it would be on and were treated patronisingly by the staff. The cooker had broken down - which we found out as we had checked out - before breakfast, therefore I... more

This hotel has been renovated back to its former glory and the decor is beautiful. I had an attic room - mind your head! and it was beautifully peaceful. Great staff, great breakfast and the hand made choccie on the bed was a real treat! more
