I Booked Roselands B+B in Exeter costing £50 per room per night.
After booking Roselands B+B that morning I recieved news that one of my close friends would have to leave the UK to go back home to South Africa after having a serious brain operation, he was leaving the same day I was ment to be staying at the B+B.
I called the B+B back that afternoon straight away to see if it was
possible to cancel the room due to unfortunate circumstances, to find he had already taken the full amount from my account and would not refund me even though I explained my reasons. As it happened fortunately my friend managed to get a flight three days later so we still went up to Exeter.
I chose this B+B on the basis it was near a certain part of town, (which the owner did assure me it was) to find when I got there, it was a good 20mins drive away which cost more money in taxi fares.
The room itself was very spacious but found it strange there was a shower
