I stayed at Woodbine as I was in Exeter on business. The single room I was given was VERY small, sparsely furnished and the (private) bathroom was down the corridor a little way. The welcome was warm and the woman who runs it is undoubtedly very pleasant. The room and bathroom were clean, but not exactly comfortable. I had a... more

The gentleman in question booked and asked for the single room and booked on 28/10/09 and stayed on 2/11/09. The discription of the room/s is /are on my website for all to see with pictures. There is also an access statement to point out where the bathroom for this particular room is. When ever some one wants this room, I...

Stayed here for 1 night in september for a night out in Exeter. Location was ideal, only a few minutes walk into the centre. Slight problem with parking, we had to park down the road in one of the few non permit parking spaces as there is only space for a couple cars on site. The room was nicely decorated... more

Stayed here for one night with colleagues for a conference. The rooms were very nicely decorated an clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The owner was very nice and accommodating and the breakfasts were great, it was close to the centre and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for reasonably priced accommodation in Exeter. more

Pretty bog standard bed and breakfast, but clean rooms and very good value. It's location is good for getting into the city centre (2 min walk) and about a 15 minute walk to Exeter St Davids - the mainline station for Exeter. Not too noisy. One problem may be parking due to proximity to centre - but I didnt have... more

My wife & I stayed one night here in late April. The outside of the building is historic but the inside is 21st C. modern. Ask for the Honeysuckle Room overlooking a park. Breakfast was delicious and large. The room was large enough for us with two beds, a small but clean toilet en suite (in room) and room for... more

I stayed there for one night. The land lady is a wonderful person. Even though it is very close to a main road, the rooms are incredibly quiet. They are also very clean. Breakfast is also very good. If I ever need to go to Exeter again for a short trip, this is where I will stay. more

This guest house is incredibly good value. Everything you could want for this price range - comfortable, attractive, clean rooms, considerate service with attention to detail, lovely breakfast, quiet and only a walk away from the city, cathedral and train/bus links. The staff deserve all the praise i have read here- you really feel valued. more

A cozy B&B with a very quiet location looking out on a park. Close to bus and train station St David's. I would definitely stay again when in Exeter. more

The room was clean and comfortable. TV and wi-fi are available. The host was very pleasant and helpful. Nice location with the bus real close, and not too far from the Exeter/St David train. more

I was lucky enough to stay at the Woodbine on two occasions, and its a great B&B. Its spotlessly clean, and really comfortable. The location is great, and my room had views over the park , so was very quiet. The breakfast was delicious. I thoroughly recommend it, you won't be disappointed. more
