We have just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at this hotel, it had everything we needed for a comfortable break, it would have been longer, but unfortunately we had originally booked another hotel, what a relief to find this one and change for the last 2 nights. The room and bathroom were excellent, the position in Lynmouth on... More

We checked in mid-afternoon and were shown to our room by a mute teenager who to her credit switched us to a lower floor as my husband is on crutches but didn't really say anything else. The rooms are nice it's true but this is not a hotel in the strict sense of the word, there is no room service... More

I had a good feeling about the place as soon as I walked through the door to be greeted by the smiling, friendly staff. Had a couple of subsequent visits to discuss arrangements and then... More

Stayed at the hotel as part of a wedding group. Wonderful setting with fantastic views from all rooms, which were extremely clean! Friendly staff, very warm and inviting, who could not do enough to ensure the stay was a memorable one. The breakfast was truly scrumptious and abundant - cereal, full English, toast. My only gripe (albeit a small one)... More

One more rave review for this hotel. Friendly staff and lovely clean rooms, onsite parking, and a location on the river and right in the middle of the tiny village,:what is not to like? The only criticism we could find with it was the ambiance, or lack thereof, of the dining room. With such a view of the river mouth... More
