Four of us spent 3 nights at Shelleys. We were very impressed. It is a hotel rather than a b&b and has good rooms plus plenty of general space and an honesty bar. The owners were great including providing us an early cooked breakfast on the day we travelled to Lundy island. We will be going back. more

Helpful and courteous owners, a good position for walking into Lynmouth , sea views,, very well cared for and in an excellent state of decoration , very good breakfasts. We stay in a wide variety of hotels and this rates amongst the best. more

Lynmouth is the jewel in North Devon's crown and Shelley's was a real find - an excellent place to stay - rooms spacious, spotless and extremely comfortable. Views across Lynmouth bay. Breakfast delicious! Thoroughly looked after by friendly hosts. more

This character hotel is one of a kind. The owners take a lot of trouble to treat you to a wonderful stay. Rooms are a good size, everywhere is very clean and well presented, and the whole hotel is full of Shelley memorabilia, without being stuffy! I have never written a hotel review before but we would throughly recommend Shelleys Hotel. It is immaculately kept and the rooms are tastefully furnished. Breakfast is excellent and the hotel has made me realise that there is excellent accommodation tobe found in England for a very reasonable price. more
