A bit under whelmed really when we stayed in early September. We found it a little above average but had really expected an awlful lot more going by all of the very many previous reviews and so were to some extent disappointed. Pros - pleasant place, clean and agreeably decorated, friendly welcome. Cons - regimented house rules, lugging cases up... more

My partner and i stayed at the Bonnicott for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was fantastic, with great views. The area is absolutely stunning with plenty to see and do, at a very relaxed pace. We are already planning to come back next year for our honeymoon. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Bonnicott is the ideal place to stay in Lynmouth. Close enough to all the attractions but situated so that fine views towards the sea are guaranteed. Colin & Pamela spoiled us with scrumtious breakfasts and tasteful rooms. We'll be back ! more

A very enjoyable stay in this lovely hotel. An above average standard of furnishings and an outstanding attention to detail, with lots of nice little touchs. The situation is stunning and the welcome very warm indeed. The owners are full of helpful suggestions for walks, drives in the area and nothing was too much trouble. Bonnicot House was lovely and in a great location. Lovely bedroom with superb views. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Warm and friendly atmosphere with an excellent breakfast. Lynmouth is wonderful, as is this B&B! If you want a weekend away in a stunning place, with great food, this is where to come. We walked to Watersmeet, then to the Blue Ball and then along the coast path...amazing. The Rising Sun is certainly worth a visit for an evening meal. And the breakfasts at the Bonnicott are excellent...homemade... more
