Rooms were beautiful, comfortable and very clean. We have never experienced such a wide choice of breakfasts, all beautifully cooked. The owner was extremely hospitable and friendly as were the staff. We consider ourselves "hard to please" but honestly could not fault our stay. We will certainly be back. I'd previously stayed at Victoria Lodge when Ben and Jane owned it so was a little trepidatious when I knew that it had a new owner. Lynton lies 600 ft above the port of Lynmouth and you couldn’t ask for a better holiday. There’s plenty to do in both towns. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The old Victorian house is fantastic with tones of character and in a great location to walk to everything.
