We were welcomed by Daphne and Peter with free upgrade offer and warm open fire place. We had such a good time there - despite bad weather, we enjoyed fantastic home made ice cream, fire place, very good breakfasts and dinners! This is perfect place for winter and summer breaks! Lynton and Lynmouth are cosy, victorian towns, surrounded by gorgeous... More

We booked here for our honeymoon and found that subsequently it had new owners; daphne and Peter. Well we needn't have worried. They are still finding their feet I think but we were very impressed. They were very welcoming and friendly. Very nice room and good breakfasts and you could pick and choose your favourite ingredients and have it cooked... More

Great location just off the main street yet still feels secluded and quiet in the garden. House with lots of period features and lovely clean and well appointed rooms with comfortable beds, some freshly decorated. Real family welcome from the new owners with a real personal touch. A superb base for exploring Exmoor and the coast More

The St Vincents is a beautifully kept house with clean, smart rooms, a lovely lounge and great breakfast not to mention the delightful couple who run it. We stayed in one of the top floor rooms for the weekend, the room was very clean, well decorated and very comfortable. Downstairs the couple have a lovely communal lounge full of local... More

This was our second stay at St Vincent House. Jean-Paul and Lin are very welcoming, the rooms are clean, beautifully appointed and really comfortable. Breakfasts are outstanding with top quality ingredients. The house itself is elegant and has a real sense of history about it, the service is lovely, personal and unobtrusive. Can't suggest any improvements at all, though it... More

Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay at the St Vincent Guest House. John Paul and Lyn are exceptional hosts and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was superb every morning with a great selection of dishes. The house had a wonderful feel about it with all bedrooms not overdone or underdone and is very cosy without being too... More

A lovely house, full of character, with a charming front garden. We were made very welcome by Jean Paul and Lin and being a small hotel, we soon got to know our fellow guests. Our room was spotless and the food fantastic. It would have been good to stay long enough to work our way through the menu! If you're... More

Charming Building, but I think some of the other reviewers have been a bit over enthusiastic. Feels in many ways like being a guest in someone else's home, but a home where the hosts do things their way- and do it very well- but without too much regard for their guests wishes. For instance, I feel that if a guest... More

We have stayed a number of times and try to find a couple of days at least to unwind and indluge every year in this wonderful small hotel. . The success of St Vincent is entirely due to the owners Lin and Jean-Paul whose attention to detail, friendly welcome and supberb food make this a very special place. More

I have been to St Vincents twice but only just got around to writing a review...quite simply, I love it! I first went with my boyfriend in 2008 for his birthday, and we loved it so much we took my parents back for their wedding anniversary last October...and we are planning another visit this year! The house is gorgeous -... More
