I stayed at the north cliff hotel in December for peace, quiet and great walking. When I arrive the receptionist Kate was really friendly and welcoming. She explained all the great spots to go walking and all the places to go out in Lynton and Lynmouth Unfortuately the hotel restaurant was closed. But hey what can you expect fot this... more

We booked a 3 night stay over the telephone after reviewing the hotels website. Upon arrival we discovered that the hotel was very dingy. There was a room off the reception full of cleaning equipment and washing and the lounge was strewn with childrens toys and a mess. I was a walk in customer seeking single ensuite B&B for one evening. This hotel is a 2 minute stroll from the Lynton village and perched on the cliffedge overlooking the ocean and down into Lynmouth.
