This hotel is well suited to tourists to Plymouth who are in a hire car as it is situated very near to the A38 and easy to find. There is a big monitored car park and no problem leaving your car there all day as there is a park and ride just up the road. The breakfast is buffet and... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights last weekend. I think it would have been nice to have been warned about traffic noice which goes on all through the night. Even with the window closed, I couldn't get any sleep and had to go to the shops next day to invest in some earplugs. The staff are friendly and... More

This hotel only gets 2 stars for the location and power shower, if you don't want a three course meal then sandwiches come in stale smelling bread, and you probably have to collect them yourself if its busy! Double rooms come with another 2 singles jammed in as well, however the reception were the only helpful staff there.

Stay here if you are on a tight budget but do not expect too much. The hotel is just by the ring road so there is traffic noise, but room 117 was surprisingly quiet. There is no excuse for the dirty coverings on the single bed/settee in the room. Even a budget hotel needs to put cleanliness first. The pillows... More

Stayed for 2 nights. First night the fire alarm went off 5.45am. It wasn't dealt with that well. No one informed us what was going on. We all had a letter left outside our room apologising but maybe could have been organised a bit better?? Rooms and hotel facilities are dated. The rooms and bathrooms big enough. Seperate toilets. This hotel is situated close to the sewerage works, so the evident odour wafts through your room. Hotel is ancient, no customer service to rooms, not even for a toilet roll. Rooms are ancient and even diet coke costs 3 pounds in the foyer - rip off. This hotel was used as one of the Cosmos Tour Accommodations, it tells... More

we stayed here whilst visiting my family and although the hotel needs some serious investment to update it the rooms were clean, the breakfast substantial and what's more the staff in every department were very friendly and welcoming. I hope it keeps going and is not knocked down as the council wish as good staff deserve to keep their jobs.
