Recent reviews of St Elizabeths House have commented on poor service from young and inexperienced staff. Well if there was a problem - they fixed it. Stayed 2 nights in a STANDARD room for a relaxing getaway. The Room. Huge - almost double what you would expect. Staying on a business trip I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food both at dinner and breakfast was superb. The bed was divine and the room and bathroom very nice indeed. I would stay again for pleasure. more

We stayed at St Elizabeth's house for a weekend in August and were unfortunately very disappointed. Although the hotel itself - the rooms, bathroom, gardens etc. are gorgeous and beautifully decorated, the whole place is let down by the service and staff, who all seem to be young and/or inexperienced.
