We stayed a week night - June 2007 This hotel is simply stunning, with quality finishing and excellent attention to detail. Our room was on the first floor, and was charming. Simple modern design easily blended with the building's original features. The bathroom was fabulous, most probably the best I have ever seen. The staff were friendly and professional. We... more

This is the first time I have been so impressed with a hotel that I have been bothered to review it! It is a small boutique hotel with a fantastic eye for detail, the decor is great, obviously pretty new, and spotlessly clean. The staff were super friendly and for such a nice hotel the bar prices were v reasonable.... more

We stayed at St. Elizabeth's for two nights and the room and bathroom were great - comfortable bed, awesome shower & bath, all nicely appointed. We were planning a weekend of visiting National Trust properties, and this was a great location. Close enough to everything and yet removed in a beautiful setting. Our only issue was with the front desk.... more

Directions to hotel were spot on, very easy to find, room was elegant, modern but comfortable, quality furnishings. Bathroom needed a shelf fitting for your toothbrush etc. Tea cooffe good, whole jug of fresh milk, tray tends to be full of fruit teas, who ever uses these? Nice bar area, comfy chairs and sofas. The big down was that staying... more

We stayed here just one night B and B over the bank holiday weekend. We had the most basic of rooms (apparantly) but it was lovely. Beautiful chic decor - a shower and bath to die for. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rest of the hotel was decorated in chic style - check out the unusual sinks... more

Rooms are of an excellent standard with bathrooms of exceptional quality. The evening dinner was very good but breakfast a bit indifferent. Staff are very attentive and friendly which made the stay that much more enjoyable. The room I had was affected by traffic noise in the morning but I regarded this as only a small irritant. Nice gardens and... more

As you will see, I attended one of their opening events and loved the place. Since then, I've spent the night here with my girlfriend and scored some major brownie points for a great weekend away. The room (Longbrook Suite) was super, very comfy bed, huge flat screen TV, but it was the bathroom that blew us away - huge,... more

St Elizabeth's is a real treat. The building is a former convent, in beautiful grounds, and has been lovingly converted into an 18-room luxury hotel. The public areas are very welcoming, with comfy sofas and a luxurious bar area. The bedrooms are the real highlight. Huge comfy beds, giant plasma TV, and nice touches like a jug of fresh milk... more

We stayed here on the valentines package and had a fantastic time. The hotel is newly opened and is spotlessley clean. Staff were efficient and friendly without being stuffy or overbearing. Excellent level of service throughout the hotel. Lovely dinner with lower then average wine prices and pub priced drinks, we even ravished the mini bar in the room it... more
