Have visited Casa Mia a number of times now and always receive a really warm welcome from the owner. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is ideal - short walks to the Hoe and the seafront, to the restaurants in the Barbican and to the shopping centre. The Casamia is a very welcoming b and b, in a fantastic location, the breakfast was delicious and a good variety. My room was on the first floor over the park it was a very spacious double room. The barbican is literally down the road and the shops I will definitely be staying here again more
Welcome was fine but don't ask for anything as the response was quite cold and negative. Also the WiFi was very poor signal level and they even swithced it off late evening ! We stayed here for long weekend at the end of July. Perfect location next to Hoe Park and near The Citadel, 5 minutes from the city center and the Barbican. When we arrived at the Casa Mia Guest House, the landlady was welcoming and the rooms were clean and a nice size. This guest is mistaken about the reason for the extra cleaning charge, which was towards the cost of the specialist cleaning required to remove the pink hair dye from linen,towels,furnishing and carpet.
