The hotel is relatively easy to find. Just drive along the front and up the hill and you'll find the Meadfoot Road.
Parking at the front of the hotel is limited, but there is plenty of street parking outside.
We arrived a little early but the owner was more than happy for us to go up to our room.
Our first night experience was a bad one (we stayed three nights in total). Two stag parties had booked in and proceeded to get very drunk. We heard them loudly leave the hotel to hit the town (we were exhausted after a long drive and were in bed by about 21:30) and then arrive back at 02:30. They kept us awake until 04:30 with their antics.
Suprisingly they all made breakfast at 08:00 the following morning, and their requests for the hotel owner to open the bar were rejected.
Now obviously this is a very bad thing to happen on a supposedly relaxing holiday (unless you're in the party). But to their credit the owners dealt with it very...
