My family found ourselves in a very difficult position when my father ended up in Torbay hospital as an emergency whilst on holiday. I contacted the Burleigh as they were situated very near the hospital and explained the emergency to which they contacted me straight away to help. We visited early August but unfortunately we had a nightmare journey to Torquay and our estimated arrival time was almost four hours later than expected. Burleigh house at Torquay is situated straight outside Torre rail station and is a pleasant 30 min walk into the main Torquay town ctr / harbour area .
