I had a good overall experience of this hotel. Lovely pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The room was very individual, well furnished and fairly large. Can't comment on the food but everything else was great, I managed to get a pretty good last minute deal - otherwise a tad pricey but nice for a special occasion. more

We stayed at The Grand between Christmas and New Year. We booked interconnecting rooms for the 1st night (£69 per room, B&B). Both rooms were too hot, but rather that than too cold! This hotel is worth staying at, location next to the train station is very good when on a business or leisure trip. The standard of the Disabled Access room is very high and on the ground. Food was very good. Reception staff extreemly helpful in getting us a wheelchair accessible taxi in time for our meeting which was not easy.... more
