The Osborne is a 32 room hotel set in the middle of a lovely regency terrace overlooking Meadfoot Bay in one of the most upmarket areas of Torquay. .The rest of the terrace is composed of timeshare apartments whose owners may also use the hotel’s leisure facilities. Well I loved this old hotel. Got a room here after escaping from another at brixham. It was 9.00pm by the time we got there bank holiday sunday and I was very grateful they had room for us. It's such a shame that this hotel has fallen on hard times - the location is perfect - in terms of service and quality it is completely overpriced. The pictures showing the poor fire safety are just shocking; they have made up my mind never to go back. I really hope the chain that owns this hotel gets taken over... more

The Osbourne on arrival looked very grand, but, it wasn't! We got no help with our bags and it is very difficult to park outside. The room was ok at best.
