We are a B&B hotel, offering simple, clean, good value, non-smoking accommodation, plus an excellent breakfast, served in the dining room, with views over Torwood Gardens. The location of the Ravenswood Hotel is very central, being adjacent to Torquay Museum and on the Agatha Christie Mile. A short walk of 400 metres takes you to the harbour, with its boats, restaurants, shops and Pavilion, or to the central shopping area in Fleet Street and Torquay's nightlife and theatres. Also within a 400 metre radius are over 30 pubs, cafes and restaurants, so you will be spoilt for choice when selecting something to eat. The friendly owner and his Japanese wife with their lovely puppy, the hearty welcome and the good service make it worth staying at The Ravenswood Hotel. You can be sure that you receive a friendly answer and good tips to every question you make. The location is ideal to explore the town of Torquay and to approach to the sea.... more

It was amazing to find a hotel in the english countryside where one of the hotel's owners is a japanese from Tokyo. I stayed at this hotel on my recent trip to England and the rooms are comfortable and reasonable price. The location is very convenient, next to the Agatha Christie Museum, in the center of Torquay.
