Excellent location for conference centre, central torquay is about 15 mins walk downhill (or instead walk 6-7 mins down to the main road then hop on the no 12 bus -they run every 10 mins). Taxi fare from the centre to hotel was just under a fiver. Taxis v. reliable and v. prompt (used Torbay taxis) and easy to get... more

I stayed here as part of a group attending a conference at the Riviera Centre. Found the hotel to be very welcoming from the outset with tips on where to eat and visits. Room was a little small but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was also lovely and great location for exploring. more

We were a party of three couples attending a conference at the nearby Riviera Centre and all of us were equally full of praise for this accomodation. The welcome we received was first class with the owners keen to make our stay comfortable. Although the en suite rooms were on the small side they were well appointed and catered for... more

We picked this hotel for a one night break on the basis of earlier reviews on tripadvisor and were not disappointed. I travelled with my two children (16 & 14) to catch a football match in Exeter the following day ... don't ask ... we lost :-( We were greeted by Dianne and Simon and sat and chatted over a... more

I agree with all the good reviews this delighful B & B has received. The rooms were lovely and everything is spotlessly clean. Simon and Diane are very friendly and helpful. They gave us plenty of info on the area and the restaurants we tried on their recommendation were excellent. They even gave us a lift to the station when... more

This hotel is an absolute gem of a place and well worth a visit if you are intending to spend a few days in Torquay visiting the locality or to use it as a base for any of South Devon's many attractions. The owners who managed to find time to greet all their guests it seemed made one feel very... more

This is a charming, friendly little hotel placed conveniently situated. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Unfortunately dinner is not available at the hotel but there is a good choice of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast is superb, if one has the appetite, breakfast is substantial enough to keep one going till dinner time! Recommended more

The Daylesford Hotel speaks for itself, it was lovely and clean throughout, and kept to a very professional standard. It is only a short walk from the town and also from one of the lovely beaches. The owners of the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful too, giving us lots of help and local information that we required not knowing... more

This lovely hotel was recommended to us. We arrived early and left our luggage and Simon was very helpful, asking us if we had thought about somewhere to eat in the evening which was extremely useful Dianne offers an excellent selection for breakfast all cooked to perfection, you certainly don't need to have a lunch. Their local knowledge was very... more
