The hotel is now run by new owners Nigel & Maxine. Nigel was very welcoming, but the lack of experience of the new owners was evident in some of the organisational aspects (for instance during serving of meals). Having visited Torquay and nearby Paington and Brixham over the last 10 years, The Richwood Hotel is by far the friendliest, value for money hotel that I have come across. The proprietors of this Hotel, Brain & Carol provide a warm, friendly welcome to all those who visit their Hotel. All rooms are en-suite, fresh & clean, have comfortable beds, tea & coffee making facilities and TV.
