We found this hotel really lovely. The owners were really friendly and helpful especially with our young children. The hotel was very tastefully decorated and very clean. The family room in which we stayed was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Tea and coffee and biscuits and TV which was handy for the kids in the morning!... more

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner and shown to our spacious family bedroom, extremely well presented with an en suite and tea/coffee making facilities. We arrived at Lanscombe house to a warmish greeting and shown our rooms, both of which were lovely. Breakfast also very good. We are a Country House Guest House with a relaxed informal atmosphere where I treat our guests as though they are truly our guests. Our breakfasts are informal, good local produce with attentive service and yes we do clear plates away when finished with - no apologies.
