I stayed at the Ferndale for two nights in October and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and cooked a great breakfast!! My room was clean and comfortable and had all the mod cons. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a visit to Torquay. more
Jon and Julie were very friendly and helpful hosts. Nice little guesthouse, convenient to town centre. Lovely breakfasts cooked to order. There is a nice TV lounge and a patio outside for fine weather. The servicing was a bit hit and miss (during a 4 night stay sometimes I'd get a new towel, biscuits, etc, other times I wouldn't), but... more
We decided to go to Torquay in the August bank holiday weekend and booked 2 nights at Ferndale Hotel. The only problem was that we didn't stay for longer than 2 nights! Just came back from a pleasant 2 night stay here. The owners Julie and Jon made us feel most welcome from the start. Clean, functional rooms with nice views. Great breakfast, and good location. Would stay here again more
