Stayed one Saturday night for a stag do!!! Great value at £45 for a twin room, would not have wanted to stay any longer. we booked through leisuretime for a mystery trip and ended up at the waters edge hotel. i felt it had alot of character and the staff were very helpful. i had requested a low floor room and afterwards realised it would be ok for my wife to go on a higher floor. the staff were accomodating and swaped the room... more

We were placed in this hotel as part of a package deal with Travelstyle and it was not particularlly cheap. We arrived late due to traffic and were served up the most disgusting meal I have ever seen. A quiet romantic weekend away culminated in a visit to the police station and a rude member of staff confrontation. Although the doors have keys, apparently the staff are free to enter your room, steal your valuables and if queried, not have to offer any assistance in your enquiries.
