We booked for 3 nights but wished it had been 3 weeks! Very welcoming hosts- nothing too much trouble, homecooked food was amazing and the room was spotlessly clean. This hotel goes the "extra mile"- little extras in the room- attention to detail. Highly recommended for all ages- particularly good with children. We've just returned from a wonderful 7 night stay at The Westgate Hotel. This is the first time we have stayed at a family run hotel (usually we use Premier Inns, Travelodges etc) and we are glad we did. Went here to celebrate our fiftieth wedding anniversary having spent our honeymoon in Torquay in 1958. Excellent hotel, spotless and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful hosts would definately return to this hotel. more
