Just returned from a 5 day break with Alfa. Loved Torquay. Regina is a nice hotel situated right opposite the harbour, we had a nice sea view, only complaint was our bathroom was so small that a shower was more a chore than a pleasure, and we are not big people I might add, nice food, pleasant staff, friendly manager.... The hotel were friendly and helpful. All meals were beautifully prresented ,and all served by their willing and friendly staff.entertainment was on 3 nights ,and each artist was good to listen to.Our rooms were. Clean and tidy ,but the paint work was looking scruffy. But the food and staff outweighed all that by 100%.Also we had a Alfa driver and he looked... More

I also visited the Regina recently with alpha with my mum and grandma. As a 24 year old I was a little sceptical to be honest at whether I would enjoy this type of holiday. However, I really enjoyed the break and found the company to be interesting and friendly. The hotel was immaculately clean, service excellent and food choice... More

The Regina hotel may not be the biggest in Torquay, but it must be one of the best, the manager and his staff were so helpful and could not do enough to make your stay pleasant, the food and the different menu everday would please any connoisseur, and the waiter and waittresses just could not do enough to help, the bedroom was a bit small... We stayed at the Regina hotel Torquay in march this year and found it to be a very pleasant establishment. Rooms although a little tired were very clean and warm. Service in all areas was very good in particular the dining room. We did have a minor "gripe" though, on our second day we had the most delicious devon cream... More
