Merlewood House was a pleasure to stay at and would definately stay again. Wendy was the perfect hostess and made us feel very welcome. She recommended a fantastic restaurant down the road, which turned out to be one of the best meals we've had in a long time. So overall a relaxing 2 night stay in a beautful house. more

Booked bed and breakfast for family to visit and sight see the Devon area. Building and location was absolutely fantastic. Rooms quite adequate. Booked at the last minute with only couple of weeks before the travel. Stayed out pretty much except for nights and mornings. Not many rooms so nice and small in size. So overall good....only one negative feedback....family... more

My partner & i stayed here recently and cannot recommend Merlewood House highly enough. The building and accomodation are decorated to an extremely high standard and the bed was possibly the most comfotable we have ever slept in! Wendy was very helpful and friendly.
