This is a real gem of a find - in a cold blustery winter it's the ultimate escape from the city - warm, cosy living room reserved for guests, complete with log burning stove (perfect for reading the papers next to) with comfortable, large ensuite rooms with lots of thoughtful touches. Carol and Graham make you feel instantly welcome, and... more

We enjoyed our two-night stay at Botany Farm House hugely. We received a very warm welcome from Carol and Graham. We loved being able to have the run of a gorgeous sitting room with a wood burner, as we had arrived to some very grey weather. Carol's breakfasts were delicious and satisfying (no need for lunch). Local pub The Weld... more

Botany Farm House is the sort of place you feel instantly at home. Carol welcomed us on a rainy afternoon with a pot of tea in the guest sitting room with comfy sofas and a log burner. The cottage is charming, full of exotic fabrics and colours and our room was not disappointing, with a very cosy feel, a comfy... more

This B&B brings a feel of the orient to rural Dorset. The guest lounge is more Moroccan bazaar, luscious and tempting. We didn't need the log burning fire, but imagine a cold winter's... more

Went to Dorset to visit Monkeyworld and simply booked up Botany Farmhouse as a base. As it turned out, we had the most fantastic stay and it made the trip that much better! Carol and Graham are fantastic hosts and Carols cooking is second to none - she's brilliant! Wanted to pack her into my suitcase and bring her home... more

Great place to stay. Delightful old cottage decorated with a riot of rich fabrics, lots of interesting furniture, pictures and other objects. Cosy and welcoming especially the snug with it's wood burning stove and abundance of interesting books. Garden brimful of birds and wildlife, woodpeckers fighting over the bird feeders! A fabulous welcome from Carol and Grahame, pot of tea... more

We have just returned from our second stay at Botany Farm. It's a wonderful place, set deep in the Dorset countryside a couple of miles from Lulworth Cove and one of the most beautiful stretches of the county's coastline. When you arrive Carol and Graham will quickly rustle up a pot of tea and you can begin to unwind -... more
