We spent 3 days at this hotel with my partner and his parents in July. We had 2 double rooms. The room was very nice even though a bit difficult to move around at times because of the lovely lovely huge bed that was extremely comfortable. Had a tv and even playstation in the room. Tea, coffee and a little... more

Having booked well in advance to celebrate my partners 40th we were bitterly dissapointed on arrival to find half the facilities closed for refurbishment. Our room, a deluxe suite was clean but very dark and extremely warm despite the radiators being turned off. What made matters worse, windows were inoperable and the only ventilation was by a door which opened... more

I booked my stay from within the hotel group (being a member of staff, preferrential rates etc.) and was very excited, having heard about the grandour of the place. Well what can I say, I was deeply embarrassed from the start of my visit. The hotel looks badly neglected from the outside. The paint is dulled by the weather and... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Royal Bath for one night recently and very much enjoyed it. We booked online and paid £79 for bed and breakfast, staying in a deluxe room. After reading the negative reviews on Tripadvisor we were somewhat apprehensive but that soon changed when we arrived. check in was quick and easy, although £15 for... more

We loved this Hotel ! When we were taken to our room on the first floor by the Porter, I thought we'd been shown the wrong room! For what we had paid it was unbelievable. The room was really spacious with a large bed, two high-backed comfortable chairs and a table, lots of wardrobe and drawer space, a concealed large... more

I had booked this hotel on the grounds that it had a car park. We arrived at the hotel and pulled into what we assumed was the car park. A barrier blocked our way – and as this is a DeVere we were expecting to be greeted by an attendant to assist us. We were not. At this point we... more

I booked this hotel for a weekend break from an email flyer before checking it out on TA. If I'd done that first I wouldn't have gone! To be fair it's not all bad at the Royal Bath, but it's bad for what you pay. We paid £79 per night for a de-luxe room with a sea view. The rate... more

I stayed at the Hotel with a group of 6 friends for 2 nights, as we were in Bournemouth seeing an act at the B.I.C Arrival at the hotel was impressive, valet parking (bit over priced at £15.00 per day) but nice knowing car is safe, Reception Staff all friendly and a smooth check in Room was cosy, very dated... more

They say you can never go back, well we returned to the Royal Bath for the first time in 15 years with fond memories of many short breaks taken here and at other De Vere "Grand" hotels on the south coast. The good bits? We booked very early in the year and got a good rate of £75 per night... more

I stayed for one night for a business related function. The hotel is certainly what I would term ‘faded’ and could do with updating. I guess it was last done about 20 years ago? From what I could see from my brief visit, most of the rooms appear to face out toward the road which is very close..and very noisy.... more
