Just had one night (14th June 2008) in a double room with balcony. It cost £150, which I think is a bit steep, considering the room was very dated - clean but shabby - and the bathroom tiny. We recently stayed here for a ballroom dance break. Arrival at the hotel is through the car park at the rear, use a critical eye and you will see that maintenance-wise, things don't get any better inside. This hotel is popular with coach parties. Our recent stay was a very enjoyable experience. We found the food & restaurant service was very good. The room we had was clean & comfortable. When the fire alarm went off in the early hours one morning a pot of tea was forthcoming when I went to investigate. Being a family run hotel the staff were pleasant & efficient.... more

We were booked in for a local conference. The room was filthy, sheets not changed, human hair over the floor, bathroom very poor condition with sewage coming up through the plug hole. We have just returned from the Marsham Court Hotel. I cannot praise the hotel staff enough, we had a lovely room with views across the bay and dinner each night was excellent. Would highly recommend more
