I stayed at The Manchester Hotel for a week, I found the staff very pleasant and helpfull, The rooms were somewhat small but clean, Food was good but possibly smaller than the average portion size. Generaly overall .......fair for a budget hotel more

The place is a complete hole. The room was cramped and shabby. The 'en suite' smelt liked something had died in it and there was not enough water pressure for the hand held shower to work. The place is a complete firetrap - it's impossible to find your room. One floor was as hot as the Sahara, one was freezing. Our room was so hideous, the place is so disgusting. Stay away from it. I've never stayed anywhere like it. This place is a death trap!!! more
