Great location, rooms clean, fairly spacious, hairdryer, fridge and towels in room. Parking space allocated. Breakfast was exceptional, staff friendly. Would certainly return to this hotel. more

We have stayed at this hotel for the last 3 years and have just come back. We have a family room on the front very spacious though can be a bit noisy on a Saturday night has never put us off. Staff are very friendly, cant do enough for you. A very nice lounge and breakfast is excellent. Great location... more

We stayed here as a group of 14 on a hen weekend. Fantastic reception very warm, welcoming and helpful! Good location near the town and beach, and good value for money. The rooms were clean and the food was lovely. Would reccommend for groups and families alike. more

Just returned from a week long break with my wife and 5 yr old son. First time to this hotel and from the moment I booked and first spoke to John the owner I felt this was gonna be a good choice to bring my family. We arrived 25th May 2009 and were made to feel welcome from the moment... more

Not as we expected as slightly run-down typical old-fashioned seasside boarding guest house - and not quirky to be viewed in a Fawlty Towers sort of way. Dated interior. Room small and shower and loo just about room to turn around. Why have plastic cover on mattress - ugh. Breakfast - fairly awful. Dining room very crammed in and hardly... more

Very surprised at this review. May we respond with the following comments? Firstly our breakfasts are most certainly NOT cooked 'hours' before being served. I do not know how these guests think you could find staff willing to arrive and cook breakfasts 'hours' before serving at 08.00. As to the quality, and as mentioned on various sites, our breakfasts are...

Decided to take a weekend break away in Bournemouth and booked the Kings Langley. The hotel was easy to find and as promised there was parking available at no cost. We were warmly welcomed and shown our room which was extremely clean with fresh bedding and clean towels (large ones which makes a nice change). There was some noise outside... more

I booked this over the internet and was sadly disappointed. The room was tiny, very creaky floors, tiny bathroom, no greeting or friendliness on arrival, the owner never spoke to me and the veggie breakfast was extremely disappointing which I could not eat. I was quite sad as I had been looking forward to my stay in Bournemouth for the... more

Arrived after journey across country.Hotel clean and comfortable with pleasant decor. Website photo's quite accurate. Friendly staff with mention to our breakfast waitress, who was charming, helpful, and a font of information. Only one little gripe, don't expect too many channels on the t.v.- otherwise it may have a nervous breakdown!! Unless you are fit - be warned, it's at... more

We arrived very late (around 1.30am) due to a flight delay, and John, the owner, was waiting up for us. Our room was spotlessly clean and fairly spacious, although the furnishings were a bit dated. The shower room was a little on the small side, which didn't concern us, since we're two small ladies! There's a hairdryer in the room,... more
